Implementation of "3D Secure" for Credit Card Identity Verification

Thank you for your continued support for JP SMART SIM. 

In order to improve your online credit card payment security, starting from the end of February, 2025, JP SMART SIM will gradually introduce the “3D Secure” method, an authentication method that verifies the credit card holder's identity. 

After the introduction of “3D Secure”, you will be required to verify your identity when registering or updating your credit card information onto our system. Please follow the instructions to complete the “3D Secure” verification process. 

We wish for your continued support for JP SMART SIM. 

■For the “3D Secure” identity verification method, in addition to inputting the credit card information, you will be asked to provide a password issued by your credit card company (such as a one time password) to complete the verification. The purpose is to prevent unauthorized use of your credit card. 
*One time password: a password issued by your credit card company that can only be used once.
