Our SIM card is a 3in1 size that fits any kind of phone. So there is no option of selecting sim size in the online application form.

If you apply from overseas, your passport is required for CALL SIM or DATA SIM. If you are in Japan, your residence card is required for CALL SIM and your residence card or passport is required for DATA SIM.

Just verify your identity using your Residence Card (在留カード) through a Seven Bank ATM or via Sagawa Express delivery. Easy and convenient!

✈️ Applying from outside Japan?
Simply upload your passport when you apply, then show it at the airport counter when you pick up your SIM. That's it — you're all set!

The following identity verifications are available.

At SevenBank ATM

• ID verification at SevenBank ATM after submitting your application is required.
• Once your initial payment & ID verification are confirmed by us, we will ship your SIM card or email your eSIM activation code.

By Sagawa courier upon delivery

• ID verification will be handled by Sagawa courier upon delivery.
• Once your application with uploading your ID and your initial payment confirmed by us, we will ship your SIM card or eSIM activation code on the document by Sagawa.

If you apply with a residence card (including those with a MyNumber)
issued on and after June 14, 2026

The following identity verification is only available.

By Sagawa courier upon delivery

• ID verification will be handled by Sagawa courier upon delivery.
• Once your application with uploading your ID and your initial payment confirmed by us, we will ship your SIM card or eSIM activation code on the document by Sagawa.

SIM Card/eSIM Applied for from overseas

• Upload your Passport and pick up your SIM card or your eSIM activation code on the document at the airport (Narita & Haneda Airport only).
• Once your uploaded ID during application & your initial payment confirmed, you can pick up your SIM card or your eSIM activation code on the document at the airport.

※ Email delivery for eSIM is not available in order to confirm you are the real owner of the eSIM CALL(Voice SIM) in accordance with Japan's regulations, so please pick up eSIM activation code on the document at the airport .

Works with any unlocked phone. Since we use Docomo's network, SIM-locked phones from Docomo also work. Not sure if your phone is unlocked? Just ask the store where you bought it.

If you're getting an eSIM, also make sure your phone is eSIM-compatible.

If you are already in Japan and apply for our SIM card, you can pay by cash at a convenience store. If you apply from overseas, you will pay the initial payment by credit card only, but once you activate your SIM card, you can switch to other payment methods includinng the way by cash for monthly payment.

It includes a one-time registration fee of ¥3,300, plus the monthly plan fee for the month following your start month, paid by credit card. Your first month's plan fee is free.

From the month after your start month onward, your registered credit card will be charged on the 25th of each month.

From the month after your start month onward, the billing and payment timing depends on your payment method.

・Convenience store payment / QR code payment apps: Billed on the 25th, due by the end of the month
・Credit card: Billed and charged on the 25th
・Bank direct debit: Billed around the beginning of the month, withdrawn on the 27th
