Identity Verification Now Available at Seven Bank ATMs

From April 1, 2026, reading the IC chip on identity documents and capturing a facial image for identity verification in non-face-to-face transactions will be mandatory.

To make this process easier, JP SMART SIM has launched an identity verification service through Seven Bank’s “+Connect” ATMs.
This service allows users to easily complete identity verification 24/7 at over 28,000 Seven Bank ATMs nationwide, regardless of their smartphone model or whether they have installed an app.

■ How to Use
If you apply for a CALL SIM (SIM card/eSIM) online within Japan, please follow the steps below:

1. Apply online
2. Pay the initial fee, then complete identity verification at a Seven Bank ATM
3. After your application is approved, receive your SIM card by mail or your eSIM via email and start using the service immediately

■ Seven Bank ATM × Identity Verification Campaign
From April 1 (Wed) to June 13 (Fri), customers who apply for a CALL SIM and complete identity verification at a Seven Bank ATM will receive a Häagen-Dazs ice cream, redeemable at Seven-Eleven.

In addition, regardless of whether you sign up for a contract, simply follow JP SMART SIM’s official Instagram account and share the campaign post during the campaign period for a chance to win an iPhone 17 (1 lucky winner).
